What to know about A1 grandstand at Circuit Suzuka
A1 is a lower grandstand sited at the end of the main straight, giving you a direct view of the pit lane exit and the race start and finish. You will see the Turn 1 braking zone clearly, a critical part of the track where drivers compete hard into the first corner. The stand also looks over a recognised overtaking zone, so you are well placed to catch racing incidents and passes.
Your ticket is valid for four days, Thursday to Sunday. On Saturday and Sunday you have a reserved numbered seat, which means your spot is guaranteed. On Friday, all seats except V1 and V2 are available to you. A large video screen is mounted at the stand, so you can follow the action and replays even when cars are elsewhere on the circuit.
The ticket includes a four-day amusement park passport, a free pass to attractions within the circuit grounds. Simply show your F1 ticket to staff at each attraction to enter. You also have access to the West area of the circuit throughout your visit.
