Arena 3 - Circuit Park Zandvoort Grandstand Guide

Grandstand at Circuit Park Zandvoort

Our verdict

Arena 3 is a budget-friendly, open-air grandstand suited to fans who want to soak up the Arena atmosphere at Zandvoort without paying a premium, though the view of Turns 12 to 13 is partly obstructed by fencing and opposite stands.

View from the Arena 3 grandstand at Zandvoort, looking across the Arena section between Turns 12 and 13

Arena 3 covers the section of track between Turns 12 and 13, where drivers accelerate out of the demanding Turn 12 and push hard toward the final part of the circuit. You can watch cars building speed as they work toward the closing sequence of corners and the run to the finish line.

The view is more restricted than at other Arena stands. Fencing and the grandstands on the opposite side of the track obscure portions of both corners, so sightlines here are among the more limited in the Arena section. A big screen is on hand to follow the broader race action you cannot directly see.

Despite its smaller size and restricted outlook, the stand sits within the famous Arena section, so the crowd energy and orange atmosphere remain a real part of the experience.

What to know about Arena 3 at Circuit Park Zandvoort

Arena 3 sits between Turns 12 and 13, giving you a view of the track as drivers exit the challenging Turn 12 and accelerate towards the final stretch before the finish line. Your sightline is more restricted than other arena stands, as fencing and the opposite grandstands block parts of the corners, but you will see the late-race jockeying for position in this crucial zone.

This is an uncovered stand, so you will be mostly in the sun throughout the day. You have a numbered seat, and a giant video screen is visible from the grandstand, allowing you to follow action elsewhere on the circuit when the race moves away from your viewing area.

Arena 3 attracts fans seeking an affordable seat in the arena atmosphere without expecting a premium sight line. The stand retains the vibrant energy of the arena precinct whilst keeping ticket prices accessible.

How it compares at Circuit Park Zandvoort

View all sections →

Within the Arena area, Gold Arena 1 and Gold Arena 2 both take in Turns 11 to 13, with Arena 1 sitting on the outside of Turn 12 and covering the Turn 11 DRS braking zone, a recognised overtaking spot. Gold Arena 2 looks back toward Turn 11 entry as well as along the run to Turn 13. Both of those stands offer a wider sweep of the track and include overtaking action that Arena 3 does not, making them the stronger choice if the racing itself is the priority.

Bronze Arena Out covers a very similar stretch, from the Turn 12 exit to the Turn 13 entry, at a comparable budget level and with the same mostly sunny exposure, though its view summary notes there is no overtaking on that short straight. If you are weighing up the two budget options in this part of the circuit, neither offers overtaking, but Arena 3 does place you within the atmosphere of the full Arena section. Fans who want a reserved seat at a lower price point and are happy to rely on the big screen for the wider race picture will find Arena 3 a practical choice.
